About Me
I currently am a Project Leader at Bendix CVS focused primarily on damper and some plastic products. In this role I manage multi-departmental teams in the design review of products in the lead up to production. This includes when there is a switch of supplier, introduce a new part, or there is an improvement and new tooling is required. Daily I manage multiple projects and maintain their progress in ERP system tracking them thru their respective change requests. I manage timelines and communicate to management the progress and status of each project and their savings. Between meetings I maintain and follow up with both internal and external teams to collect and transfer needed information.
I am a primarily self-taught programmer who is now taking a Code Camp through CWRU. I primarily worked in python and java while dipping my toes into lisp from using emacs. With my time in this Code Camp is to get up to speed on software program management and proper use of git and finer points of development. I hope too this will give me the formal and in demand skills in the current web development job market. As well as help lay a foundation for me to build a successful career in web and software development.
